Following an injury and recall of young goalkeeper Tom Smith by Premier League giants Arsenal, BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Salisbury have re-signed Charlie Searle.
Searle comes in as cover for 21-year-old Gerard Benfield, who joined the Whites in the summer from Wimborne Town.
Twenty-four-year-old Searle moved to Isthmian League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town in July from Salisbury. He joined the Whites in June 2017 from Havant & Waterlooville, having had an excellent first spell at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on loan in the club’s inaugural season of 2015/16 when he helped the Whites to the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) title and the semi-final of the FA Vase with some outstanding displays.
As well as Salisbury, he also had loan spells with AFC Totton and Petersfield Town whilst on the Hawks` books.
