Plenty of Cup Action today, along with some Local Derbies ??
This is what several Manager's and players had to say
Tamworth v Nuneaton Borough
Tom Baille - Tamworth FC
“It hasn’t been a great few seasons for the club and we hope that we can put on a show for the fans tomorrow to give them something to cheer about. “It is a great draw and a big game bringing together two of the biggest teams in the midlands at this stage of the competition. It is a shame that one will go out, so hopefully, it is not us! “It will be a tough game as like us Nuneaton have some fantastic players, but we are ready.”
Ryan Edward - Nuneaton Borough FC
‘Derby games are always exciting. The fact that we are playing in the FA Cup against Tamworth adds that extra buzz. After last week, there is a good feeling about this game, and everyone has been bouncing at training. I think everyone at the club is excited for it.’
Bromsgrove Sporting v Stourbridge
Brenden Kelly - Bromsgrove Sporting FC
“This week, we are back into cup football, as the famous trophy is back at the VG, in a very tough tie against an in form Stourbridge.
“It’s a huge opportunity of redemption for us to put things right in regards to our work ethic.
“After two very encouraging and positive training sessions, the lads look hungry and pumped up to put in an acceptable performance.
“In many ways, cup ties are always very exciting – an end to end games, with lots of incidents; however, I feel this may be another cagey affair.
Didcot Town V Poole Town
Tom Killick - Poole Town
We must approach the game with the "correct mindset" after an impressive league victory over Swindon Supermarine last time out. Asked what he wants to see from his side at Loop Meadow. "The desperation we have as a group to do well in this competition has to be reflected in the way they perform. "They have to show how much the competition means and how much they want to progress by channelling everything into Saturday. I am hoping that will happen."
Truro City V Wimborne Town
Danny Holmes - Wimborne Town FC
“We will go with a good mentality. As far as I am concerned, there will be no excuses about what has happened this week because it is a sideways stepping stone and they all know me. I expect us to conduct ourselves well, have a good go and look to win the game.”
Winchester City v Taunton Town
Rob Dray - Taunton Town FC
They looked very dangerous; it’s a tough draw for us and we need to be hitting our straps early on against them.”
Wantage Town v Swindon Supermarine
Lee Spalding - Swindon Supermarine
“A good FA Cup run is very profitable for the club financially, so it is important we have a good run,It is a good opportunity for me to have a look at players who haven’t had as many minutes so far and for them to show what they can do.”
