Long serving Club Secretary steps down

Worked for four chairmen

Tomorrow’s game against Lowestoft Town will be the last in an official capacity for Club Secretary, Adam Etheridge.

All at the Boro were extremely sad to receive Adam’s resignation a number of weeks ago but fully understood the personal reasons that lead to him stepping down.

However, such was his dedication to the role, he put his own personal issues aside and volunteered to carry on until the end of August to ensure that the hectic pre-season period and the first month of the league season ran as smoothly as possible for the Club.

Adam has maintained an impeccable administrative record during his tenure and has incredibly worked under four chairmen during his time as Club Secretary.

Without a doubt, he has also been instrumental in the Boro’s survival as he helped steer the club through some of its darkest days prior to the arrival of Jimmy Ginnelly.

All at the Boro would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to Adam for his terrific service and we wish him well for the future.
