More New Ducks

BetVictor Southern League Division One Central club Aylesbury United have made a handful of new signings to add to the players who have re-signed from last season.

Central defender Jordan Jenkins joins from former cross-town neighbours and now Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division outfit Aylesbury Vale Dynamos, where he was skipper, making 112 appearances at Haywood Way. He was previously with Leighton Town, Aston Clinton, Winslow United and Thame Rangers.

Another central defensive signing is Dave O'Connor, who has been with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Tring Athletic for the last four years, making over 140 appearances. He also had a short spell with the Moles having previously played for Chesham United's reserve team in the Spartan League, and Amersham Town.

Jamie Rudd is a highly rated winger who made over 100 appearances for Aylesbury FC - including scoring against the Ducks back in 2014 - before working and playing in Dubai for the last three years. Formerly with Chesham United and AFC Totton, he has now returned and signed for United.

Lewis Osborne is a midfielder who previously played for the Ducks after being with Dunstable Town but was limited to just 27 appearances in two years due to a host of injuries - including a broken leg. Now fully fit, he was SSML side Langford's top scorer last season with 14 goals in 46 games.
