Popular striker re-joins the Railwaymen

Didcot Town are delighted to announce the signing of striker Felipe Barcelos who rejoins the club from Stratford Town.

Felipe was Didcot's top scorer last season having scored 27 goals in just 38 appearances, a season in which the Railwaymen made the Southern League South West playoffs as well as the Southern League Challenge Cup final.

Felipe's form saw him also scoop 2 player of the year awards at the club's presentation evening.

Having started the season with Didcot and scoring in his only home appearance against Aylesbury United, Felipe departed for Moneyfields in the Southern League West Division before having a brief spell at Southern Premier side Stratford Town.

Everyone at Didcot are delighted to welcome Felipe back no one more so than manager Andy Ballard who added "We're delighted to bring Felipe back to Didcot, He was a huge part of our success last season and knows what we're all about, It's an area of the field we have lacked a little bit of depth in and he brings the added firepower we need for these last 13 games of the season. "

Felipe goes straight into tomorrow's squad for our home game with Yaxley, it's a 3pm kick off from the Loop come down and get behind the lads in this crucial league contest!
